
Adrian Parker, PhD, is professor emeritus at the University of Gothenburg Department of Psychology in Sweden. After qualifying in clinical psychology at the Tavistock Clinic, Adrian Parker was the recipient of the Perrott-Warrick Studentship in psychical research, Trinity College, Cambridge and became the first to gain a UK doctorate with a thesis on psi from the University of Edinburgh. He is one of the originators of the ganzfeld technique, now the standard methodology for researching psi in the laboratory. Part of his doctoral work was published in the book States of Mind. His current research project with the Department of Twin Research at Kings College, University of London, concerns exceptional and attachment experiences amongst twins. Another project concerns lucid dreams and is supported by the BIAL foundation for brain research.
